Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Final Fantasy VII Remake held a collaboration event in Paris, where E33's art director Nicolas Meexson (Maxson?) and FF7R's creative director Tetsuya Nomura created new artwork.

Recently in World of Warcraft 11.0 The War Within, players will see Aerith lying on the ground near the portal trainers, seemingly with a sword run through her, but changing the viewing angle reveals it actually didn't pierce her. Interact with her and she wakes up, saying something like “Phew, that was close.” Next, you'll see the flower girl and the surviving survivor teleported away together.

But not long after, Dalaran fell, and at the crash site only fragments of the flower-selling wagon could be seen; the flower girl Aerith was temporarily unaccounted for.
