Tifa's English voice actor loves CA interactive
【Questioner】: What do you think of that strongest and most wonderful character, I mean Aerith.
[Cody]: I love her to death, I really love this character; I think Aerith is one of the high points of the series, and without her everything would be different. I mean, I don't want to spoil too much. But there's a lot in the third game that is that... a huge driving force. But if you think she's as strong as Cloud, you'd be wrong.
【Briana】: Yes, Aerith is amazing. And I feel like her journey… that character… oh my god… really carries so much weight, thinking about how the fate of so many other things rests on her shoulders to some extent.
【Cody】: While acting like it's nothing, I'll add.
【Briana】: Just like that, so casually. So I think she's incredible, I love her。 I love the interactions between them, especially when they tease Cloud.

Early years with Adella, a Cosplayer who has cosplayed Aerith for many years.
Katsuyuki Yamazaki (motion capture for Cloud in the Remake series)
Today I spent almost the whole day in bed. I ate full meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I watched lots of movies, anime, and YouTube.
For the first time in a while, I watched various player-uploaded FF7R cable car date videos. The comments were fun too~! I'm so happy to see everyone watching so closely!
Like the part where the fireworks can barely be seen, and the moment right after getting off the cable car where the hand clenches instantly, the movement of the eyes, the hand-holding part, and many other details.
All of these were done with such care, so it really makes me happy! Alright! I rested well today. Tomorrow I'll be energetically doing clerical work all day!
The hand-holding part, the bit where Aerith's reaction is given a bit of attention after holding hands—though I can't say for sure, there are all kinds of feelings contained in it.
I'm so glad everyone felt so many emotions from that scene.
(Talking about the hand-holding part of Aerith and Cloud's date)
Player comment: I've rewatched the date scene over and over. You can feel the delicate touches everywhere. Before holding hands, he looks a little nervous, and I think that might be Cloud thinking: What should I do in this situation? I felt his clumsy tenderness。
I think that him starting to care about the other person is his growth.
Katsuyuki Yamazaki: I'm very happy that everyone could feel those emotions.
Player comment: Aerith's date
Simply flawless. When she made it clear that she doesn't see Cloud as a replacement for Zack but wants to be with the real him, Cloud opened his heart.
This is an unforgettable and moving moment between soulmates. Thank you for your hard work!
Katsuyuki Yamazaki: I'm so glad we were able to create such a wonderful scene。
Player comment: Because he doesn't want to be disliked, he cares about his own actions, and you can really feel that Cloud has fallen in love with Aerith. Someone like Cloud, who is a bit gloomy and introverted, would care about these things even more!
Katsuyuki Yamazaki: I was worried about "could there be a problem?" so I tested the waters a bit..
Player comment: Seeing the innocent interactions between these two makes my heart flutter! What pure love this is.... It's simply national-treasure-level.. I will quietly watch over them.
Katsuyuki Yamazaki: Heart-pounding! So happy! Though, overseas players might feel frustrated (laughs).
Marina Ozawa (voice actress of Penelo in FFXII)
Besides Yuffie, who is your favorite character?
My favorite character is probably Aerith. She's like the light of the whole party; especially in Final Fantasy VII Remake, when Cloud is being very serious and brooding, Aerith brings a lot of lighthearted, cheerful atmosphere to the scenes. I really love that about her. She's both lively and bold, and kind and gentle. In Final Fantasy VII Remake, all the characters show various different sides, and I truly admire her performance. I think Briana White portrayed her vividly and full of life.
My favorite ship is Cloud x Aerith

Still in Dr. Slump (Arale-chan), Gatchan Norimaki dressed up as Aerith, while Arale plays Cloud.
Sebastian Kalemba (game director of The Witcher 3, head of the Cyberpunk 2077 anime)
What was the first game that made you cry while playing? I'll go first!
For me, it was Aerith's death in Final Fantasy VII, which was already 28 years ago :O!
So, having her fight alongside Cloud in my Commander deck didn't feel like building a deck...... It felt more like making up for a regret.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art
