The world of the Lifestream symbolizes Aerith
The confrontation between the world of the Lifestream symbolizing Aerith and the world of the meteor symbolizing Sephiroth is an important scene hinting at the duel between the two.
Matching the appearance of Sephiroth, the strongest enemy, take note of the world destroyed by the meteor.

Water represents Aerith
A foreshadowing like "Aerith will appear at the church!" In the story, the injured Cloud and Tifa collapsed on the flower field here and were healed. Also, Aerith's image is "water", so we used "water" as the impression of the staging.

The water's surface symbolizes Aerith
In scene 09-02, there is a scene where Zack stands on the water's surface, gazing up at white feathers drifting across the blue sky. When the developers were asked about the intent behind this scene's direction, they gave this reply: "Zack inherited Angeal's wishes, yet he couldn't save anyone and was trapped in Nibelheim, which left him feeling despair and helplessness. When Angeal rebuked him for being in such a painful-to-watch state, Zack decided to pull himself together again. That resolve is reflected in the mindscape at the beginning of Chapter 9.
The blue sky symbolizes Zack, the white feathers symbolize Angeal, and the water's surface symbolizes Aerith。
Just as the blue sky was used as a symbol in "CC", it symbolizes Zack, the ideal First Class SOLDIER in "FF7". This is an image of Zack at his best, in a perfect state. From another angle, it also symbolizes ideals, goals, and dreams.
The "white feather" is a symbol of Angel, and also a symbol of "wings". Angel's wings are wings spanning the blue sky, and this image suggests that Angel must overcome many hardships to reach heights and dreams.
The "water surface" reflecting the "blue sky" symbolizes Aerith. When Aerith hears the voice of the Planet, it is interpreted as her entering the Lifestream, so the image of Aerith's consciousness passing through the water surface evokes the Lifestream. Alternatively, itself is a symbol of the Lifestream, a kind of will of the Planet。
Through these three connections, it hints at the whole story.

The rain makes one feel Aerith's presence
At first, after defeating Sephiroth, the scene suddenly shifts to the church, with no series of events involving Kadaj, and no Kadaj vanishing in the rain, nor the scene of feeling Aerith here. Kadaj and the others were also people who needed to be saved. I'm glad this was added.

To the trace of Aerith, Tifa responds with a smile; treasuring Aerith is also Tifa's heartfelt, genuine feeling.

The ribbon represents remembering Aerith
【Nomura】: At first, I noticed that none of the companions were talking about Aerith. So I came up with the idea of everyone wearing something as a silent symbol. I had them wear a ribbon to show that they had never forgotten Aerith。

In AC, the companions who fight to save the Planet all wear pink ribbons. When it comes to pink ribbons, one thinks of Aerith, the one who sacrificed herself in the battles of FFVII. This ribbon embodies everyone's feeling of "never forgetting her". Also, although Marlene doesn't tie a ribbon on her arm, her hairstyle has an Aerith-like feel.

Flowers
On the church floor that serves as the base, the flowers Aerith planted are in full bloom, and the effect parts made of transparent resin recreate this scene with morning sunlight streaming through.

Cloud's Buster Sword, Sephiroth's Masamune, and Aerith's flowers.
