The conversation between the two
After the others each went their own way, Cloud and Tifa spent the night together. At this time, two things—"the conversation between the two, from dusk to dawn" and "Tifa's lines and reactions when knowing how everyone would look (listen) at that scene"—vary depending on Tifa's affection level toward Cloud.
Distant and intimate conversation
If her affection level is low, the night the two spend together, the conversation is distant and brief; the next day in the cockpit, Tifa taps the floor lightly with the tip of her foot"
If her affection level is high, the two's nighttime conversation is more intimate; the next day in the cockpit she says 'Did you see?', and she shyly crouches down"
Lines that are no big deal
—The line "Words are not the only way to convey feelings" is quite a mature exchange for FF.
【Kitase】: It was actually pretty tame, all things considered. I remember having them change the parts that were too striking in impression.
【Nomura】: Yeah, the original design was even more extreme than what's there now—Cloud would walk out of the Chocobo stable on the Highwind first, and then Tifa would come out slowly while watching her surroundings—but that idea was rejected by Kitase. As for the line that caused the controversy, back then probably no one thought it was any big deal (laughs).
Whether the two of them had sexual relations
(After the high-affinity conversation)The two fall asleep nestled together. Before dawn, Cloud wakes up.
"More than words can convey feelings" is not a main-story line
At low affinity, there is no "more than words can convey feelings". There is no conversation after the good morning.
Cloud's replies are also almost all "……".
